NAME

Affmark - prefix/suffix marking tool.

SYNOPSIS

affmark [RESULTSFILE] [DATAFILE] [OUTPUTFILE]

DESCRIPTION

This script is a part of affisix package. It's purpose is to help users with processing of results obtained by affisix. It takes every segment from file with results and compare it with already know prefixes/suffixes and false hits. If it is still unsure, it displays relevant words from input file and asks user. After processing all words, false hits are prefixed with '-' and correct results with '+'.

OPTIONS

affmark has only one option '-s'. This option specify that we are going to mark suffixes instead of default prefixes. It has also three optional arguments. First one is the name of the file with results. For details about format see next subsection. Second argument is file with words from language. This file is used when questioning user. Last argument is the name of the output files.

DATA FORMAT

File with results must consist of segment followed by any blank (Member of [[:blank:]] class (space, tabular, ots)) and then anything you are interested in. Everything after blank is leaved unchanged.

Affmark is storing all informations collected from user into files in users home directory in files beginning with '.affisix'. If you decide to drop all these information (for example to start experiments with another language), simply delete all these files.
